Every Extended Diploma includes a supervised Practical Training Internship of at least four months — 640 hours in hotels, resorts and hospitality businesses.
The internship
The internship is a CTH unit in its own right: a minimum of four months and 640 hours, assessed through a journal, an internship report and an oral examination.
Placement
The internship cell places students in hotels and resorts and keeps in touch with the employer during the placement.
Employment opportunities
Graduates leave with a UK-validated qualification and documented industry experience for roles in Mauritius, on cruise lines and in hospitality businesses abroad.
