Student entry / residence permit

Student Entry/Residence Permit applications are now online

GBS, as the registered institution, first enrols the accepted student on the National Electronic Licensing System (NELS). The system then generates a unique enrolment key, which the college provides to the student. The student uses that key to complete the permit application online. From 30 September 2026, the Passport and Immigration Office no longer processes student residence-permit applications submitted outside NELS.

Do not make travel arrangements until the appropriate entry approval has been issued.
